5 weeks of monitoring my badly injured Fox. Tried trapping but too many cubs around setting trap off. Switched to medicating him for 10 days. then 4 days no sightings. When he came in I was desperate to see that the leg was better. It just wasn't. He was used to trap in garden now and he was hungry. This was my chance. Trap was on its side with a wire rigged up to pull door shut. A heartbreaking end to what I had so hoped would be a success and rehabilitation story.

I had been setting the trap cam for a few nights and knew that the fox came in the garden. So it was wonderful on a still night to just spend some time. I was lucky to have enough time to be able to re-do the video a few times, to get it how I wanted it.

See the blog about this on the blog page. It was a lovely relationship for about 6 weeks as he came to trust me and I was able to get medication into him. The mange affects the eyes.

A Hidden lagoon off Maafushi Island in the Maldives. A whole coral rejuvenation project was taking place - so there was new live colourful coral. I visited for a snorkel everyday knowing a turtle frequented the lagoon. The day I looked down to see it sleeping on the seabed - was fantastic. I was then able to film lots of clips as he emerged from under the rock, clung to coral frames and then allowed me to swim by his side for a whole lap before returning to beneath the rock

A pod of 8 Orca came to the boat. I was hanging off the back off the boat trying to keep an eye on the surface and what was going on in the water. Huge dorsal fins coming towards us. The moment the large female came alongside the boat and surfaced right next to me was a breath taking moment.

Maldives again, we had stopped for the night and swam just off an island. At one stage we had 7 swimming beneath us, again - once we were bored of filming them, we filmed each other filming them

We had moored up for the night and had a light off the back of the boat in the hopes of attracting the Whale Shark. We didn't get lucky but did have about 5 nurse sharks. It was amazing watching them in the light. Then Charles - leading the trip - a Maldives expert and Scientist asked me if I wanted to quietly slip into the water - I was so excited, but it's also nerve wracking ! We had a wonderful hour with them swimming beneath the boat and us.
